The Slickee Boys

The Slickee Boys were a Washington, D.C. area punk-psychedelic-garage rock band whose most-remembered lineup consisted of guitarist Marshall Keith, guitarist Kim Kane, singer Mark Noone and drummer Dan Palenski. The group was named after a GI slang term for the rockabilly-inspired Korean street toughs who sold black market goods to American soldiers

One look at the discography pretty much says it: with the Slickee Boys, there's a whole lotta history goin' on. And the thrust of it all hasn't changed a lick since guitarist Kim Kane put the band together almost nine years ago. Well, maybe they've moved out of the garage and into the fun house, and then again, maybe it's the other way arould. Whatever, the Slickees rock with big hooks for big kicks.

Uh Oh… No Breaks, the band's second Twin Tone LP, delivers more of what has made the Slickee Boys the rock'n'roll pride of Washington, D.C. - thrashing guitars, spooky keyboards, rollercoaster rhythms and plenty of garage grunge. In short, a whole lot more raunchy alI American fun.
